Always start the boats head to wind, if you can't get two buoys to give you a start line as above, use one buoy and an outer limit mark or the safety boat.

Don't have two windward marks from the start line

This start line has too much Port Bias. Use an outer limit mark or the safety boat to get a line perpendicular to the wind.

This start line has too much Starboard Bias. Use an outer limit mark or the safety boat to get a line perpendicular to the wind.
