Denholme Sailing Club
Denholme Sailing Club is also known as Doe Park Leisure Centre, situated in the heart of Bronte Country.
We are a small friendly club with around 70 members where sailing takes place on Saturday afternoon, all day Sunday and Tuesday evenings.
Our "Open Day" where non members are encouraged to try out sailing using the clubs boats and equipment, takes place in April and is followed by several weeks of free training to new and existing members.
Weather permitting our sailing starts with the "Hypo Series" in February, followed by the "Spring and Summer Series" and ends with the "Frost Bite Series" which starts around November.
Trips are arranged from Denholme to the Lake District and coastal waters during the summer months.
Other social events include, Barbecues, Quiz nights, Race Training Instruction, Bonfire, Laying Up Supper and to finish the year off, a Christmas Dinner Dance and Presentation Evening.
